AZ Truck Driver Training Program
C&C Professional Truck Training of Canada Ltd. has come up with a course program for the majority of students who are entering into the trucking industry with very little or no experience. Our AZ Truck Driver Training program is 200 hours in length, which lasts 6 weeks.

The First Week in class includes:

  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Trip Planning
  • Air brake endorsement course
  • Border Crossing
  • Pre-Trip inspection
  • Backing
  • Shifting
  • Turning and handling the vehicle
  • Coupling and uncoupling
  • Safety and defensive driving
  • Dangerous Goods
  • New rules on Log Book
  • Weight & Axle shifting
  • Load security
  • Emergency handling
  • Preparation for written exam with MTO

    The Daily Routine Includes:

    • ONE on ONE Instruction
    • Intense pre-trip inspection
    • Air brake practical (Z endorsement)
    • Learn to double clutch on a 13 speed transmission
    • Coupling & uncoupling
    • Backing up
    • Docking, parking
    • In City & Highway driving
    • Cornering
    • Defensive Driving
    • Common sense
    • Warning devices, instrumentation
    • Awareness of signs & wires
    • Preparing for MTO road test
    • Getting ready for a new career in the trucking industry
    • Preventative Maintenance
    • Skid and Basic Control

      The next 5 weeks of AZ training are spent in the  truck with a Qualified Instructor.

      Job Placements:
      In order for us to assist the students in finding a job, we need the following:

      • Clean drivers abstract (no more than 3 demerit points)
      • Clean criminal record
      • Meet MTO medical requirements for AZ drivers
      • Ability to pass a mandatory drug test
      • Must be 21 to drive a tractor trailer in the U.S.
